Dinsmore & Shohl's James Beyer Finishes Second in Cleveland Marathon

James Beyer, a partner at Dinsmore & Shohl LLP's Dayton office, recently finished second overall in the Rite Aid Cleveland Marathon. Jim, 40, covered 26.3 miles in two hours, 34 minutes and 52 seconds, only one minute and 18 seconds off the pace of winner Retta Feyissa. More than 10,400 runners competed in the three Cleveland running events.

Jim is currently the fifth ranked United States marathoner in the 40-to-44 age bracket. He also recently finished fourth overall with a time of two hours, 36 minutes and 39 seconds in the Flying Pig Marathon held in Cincinnati.

Jim is a member of Dinsmore & Shohl's Intellectual Property Practice Group. He is an active member of Leadership Dayton and the Dayton, Ohio State and American Bar Associations. Jim is currently listed as an Ohio Super Lawyers® Rising Star. He received his J.D. from the American University, Washington College of Law and his B.S. from the University of Cincinnati.
