Donna S. Tweel concentrates her practice in the areas of general business, corporate law (both for and not for profit), corporate compliance and governance, trademark law, copyright law, mergers and acquisitions, and education law. She has acted in a general counsel capacity for small-and-medium-sized companies that do not have in-house counsel and has gained significant experience in the formation and operation of captive insurance companies both in the United States and in offshore countries. In addition, Donna has represented numerous companies, including publicly held companies, in various industries, including, the energy, healthcare, banking and communications and media industries, in connection with general business, corporate compliance, intellectual property and mergers and acquisitions. As a member of the firm's corporate and litigation practice groups, Donna is able to provide a blend of corporate and litigation advice to the firm’s clients.
