Led by Chauncey S.R. Curtz, Dinsmore’s Lexington office opened in 1997 and has grown to include nearly 40 attorneys who focus on virtually every aspect of business.
What’s Notable about our Lexington office
Dinsmore Lexington focuses on corporate/transactional matters, business litigation, estate planning as well as employment law.
The Natural Resources practice, chaired by office managing partner Chauncey Curtz is recognized as one of the nation’s top practices by The Best Lawyers® in America. Along with our Frankfort office, Lexington and Louisville attorneys work in concert with one another, providing seamless legal counsel and assistance to business and individuals throughout the Commonwealth.
Recent Experience
Dinsmore attorney Anthony Sammons represented Nintendo of America in a federal action arising out of a house fire. An aggressive representation convinced the plaintiff to enter an order voluntarily dismissing the case against Nintendo, having demonstrated that its product was not the cause of the fire.
Dinsmore also provides representation for American Express Company and is outside national counsel for its subsidiary, AMEX Assurance Company, successfully handling insurance claims on behalf of AMEX in nearly a dozen states.
