Michael L. Williams is a Partner in the Litigation Department. Mr. Williams represents state-funded and self-insured employers before the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, the Industrial Commission, the Court of Common Pleas, the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Ohio. He also handles the defense of specific safety regulations (VSSR) and premium disputes. Mr. Williams assists in administrative matters involving self-insurance. Mr. Williams has been named a Certified Workers' Compensation Specialist by the Ohio State Bar Association under the guidelines of the Supreme Court.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Williams served for two years as a staff attorney with the Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation, directing the Attorney General's office concerning the litigation and settlement of claims and managing the Bureau's subrogation and fraud efforts.
