Nora FitzGerald Meldrum is a member of the Labor and Employment Department. Nora represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including matters involving wrongful termination, employment-based torts, and employment discrimination under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She routinely represents clients before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies. Nora also assists clients with a variety of traditional labor law matters, including organizing campaigns and elections, collective bargaining, contract interpretation, grievance and interest arbitration, and unfair labor practice proceedings. In addition, Nora dedicates a substantial portion of her practice to preventative counseling and working with clients to avoid employment disputes through training, reviewing policies and practices, and advising on discipline and discharge issues.
