Nora FitzGerald Meldrum is a member of the Labor and Employment Department. Nora represents public and private sector employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including matters involving wrongful termination, employment based torts, and employment discrimination under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. She routinely represents clients before federal and state courts, as well as administrative agencies.

Prior to joining Dinsmore & Shohl, Nora served as the Director of Northwestern University’s Sexual Harassment Prevention Office, where she was responsible for conducting sexual harassment investigations and training for the entire University community. She also practiced labor and employment law with Franczek Radelet, P.C. in Chicago and with the Washington, D.C. office of Patton Boggs, LLP.  Prior to law school, Nora served as the Assistant to the Director of the non-profit Center for the Study of Social Policy in Washington, D.C.
