Rebecca L. Didat is a member of the Litigation Department. She focuses her practice on health care litigation. Rebecca represents hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, psychologists, nurse practitioners, nurses and allied health professionals in a variety of matters, at the trial and appellate levels, as well as before Indiana medical review panels. She also represents pharmaceutical companies and medical device manufacturers in product liability actions. In addition to health care litigation, Rebecca maintains a general litigation defense practice, primarily representing clients in Indiana in breach of contract, premises liability, and personal injury actions.
Rebecca has given presentations to hospital staff on proper documentation and has served as a guest lecturer to nursing students on the topic of legal issues related to nursing care. She has also presented on confidentiality of medical records to health care professionals. Prior to her legal career, Rebecca was a physical therapist for a number of years in various health care settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation centers and outpatient facilities in both Kentucky and Indiana.
