Thomas W. Hess is a Partner of the Health Care Practice Group in the Corporate Department. Mr. Hess focuses his practice on representing assisted living facilities, durable medical equipment companies, hospitals, medical staffs, nursing homes, and practitioners in the areas of certificate of need, licensure, business transactions, and Medicare/Medicaid audits, certification and reimbursement. Mr. Hess has served on the Ohio Board of Examiners of Nursing Home Administrators since 2000.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hess had the distinction of serving as partner-in-charge for the Columbus office of Buckingham, Doolittle and Burroughs. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hess was an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio and represented numerous agencies involved in the regulation of the health care industry.
